By using our house cleaning services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Terms and conditions
All cleaning done is based on a hourly rate. The hourly rate will be based on your personal circumstances, location & house size. Cleaning will commence on the day and times agreed and will continue until further notice. Please inform us if your cleaning is ongoing or short-term. If hourly appointment and you feel the cleaning is not satisfactory, you will need to buy additional time. We can only guarantee the time if that is what is needed to complete the job. No refunds for house cleaning completed.
We do not do contracts of any kind.
Super Maid can provides all cleaning materials and supplies (simple green, murphy’s oil for wood, organic paste for showers, natural glass cleaner). However, if you desire that we use your own equipment e.g. vacuum cleaner, mop & bucket, cloths and cleaning materials, you will need to let us know BEFORE your appointment. If you have unique situations or type of finish on walls, sinks, cabinets, or floor that require a specific solution other than what we use, you need to let us know and not assume we should know. No two customers are the same and everyone has their favorite brands and way of cleaning. Also, some bleach based products are acceptable providing the necessary precautions are taken, any use of bleaching agents in the property is at the customers own risk.
Complaints and discipline procedures
For any reason you are not happy with the cleaning standards or for anything else please contact us as soon as possible - preferably within 24 hours. You as a customer and client are all important to us so if we get something wrong tell us communication is important and 99% of the time can be resolved , we will always endeavour to do our best to sort out the situation efficiently and promptly. For this guarantee to apply, you must have had your home properly decluttered before we arrived.
Health and safety
All equipment including electrical to be used by Super Maid must be in good working order. Any Customers home we clean must be a safe working environment in which to do our job properly. Health and safety is important to you as the customer and Squeaky Clean House.com to eliminate any un-foreseen accidents. In the event that a house is a hazard or cluttered, we reserve the right for our cleaners to take pictures of the area(s) for before and after of what was done.
Keys, alarm systems and security
If you as the customer require Super Maid to hold a key to enter your home, under no circumstances will we keep your address details with the key. However to identify your key it is acceptable to keep a key fob with your initials to make it easier to identify which key belongs to you. You must inform us of any alarm system that needs to be unset or reset. It is in our best interests for your keys to be kept secure at all times. It is our policy to keep our customers keys safe however we will be fully responsible for any keys lost or mislaid for them to be replaced as soon as possible.
If you as the customer are present, please make sure that you are there to let us in at the agreed time. If we arrive at the designated time and no one is home without giving notice, you as the customer will be responsible for paying Super Maid the full amount of hours for that day. No cleaning fee will be refunded.
Any Incidental costs incurred by the company or cleaners as a result of a clients action will be fully reimbursed by the customer immediately
Super Maid has a strict no smoking policy. We do not accept anyone smoking while at the clients premises. This also includes the use of computers, telephones and/or any other personal item/s belonging to the customer which are not permitted to be used except in an emergency
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your regular clean for any reason please contact Super Maid giving a minimum of 24 hours notice, failure to do so will incur a charge of half that days cleaning payment. If the staff from Super Maid are unavailable we will do our best to reschedule your cleaning or to provide a relief cleaner. The cancellation charge will be wavered for medical emergencies & sickness or the clean has been rescheduled to a more suitable day.
Payment terms
All payments for any cleaning done must be paid on the day of the clean or if preferred by cash, cheque, or credit card. You will be given a monthly invoice to keep you up to date with the amount paid or outstanding. Failure to pay may result in overdue accounts and cease of cleaning. All returned checks for any reason, will be responsible for a fee of $30 per check.
Cleaning exclusions
Super Maid do not do the following:
· Work at any premises other than private dwellings, shops, offices, hotels & public houses.
· Exterior window cleaning or interior window cleaning to surfaces at a height of more than three meters above floor level.
· Any cleaning involving the use of ladders, although small stepladders are acceptable providing they are safe to use.
· Cleaning valuable items such as fragile ornaments, porcelain or china, articles of glass, earthenware stone or other articles of a brittle nature. Please ensure you inform us of such valuable items so that they can be put in a safe place to avoid accidental damage.
· Any form of gardening or tidying up externally.
· Moving or lifting heavy items that could cause injury including large items of furniture.
· The cleaning of kitchen canopies, extraction equipment ducting, or grease traps.
· Cleaning of customer cars
· Anything illegal or dangerous
- If any children or teenagers under the age of 18 are in the home without a parent or adult supervision, we have the right to deny cleanings
Animals
We are not liable if your animals manage to escape your house while we are cleaning. We try to make sure we are very careful about letting animals out of house but ultimately you may need to make sure they are in the back yard or a room to prevent this.
Public liability
Super Maid do not cover for any damaged items already broken or any item deemed broken by us or the cleaner without proof of receipt. The customer is responsible for the first $100 of any claim. It is advisable to have home contents insurance to cover for items less than this. Any damages must be reported to Super Maid within 24 hours with a cover note. Proof of the damaged item may be required and receipts to show cost, this is to eliminate any deliberation.
